Kym Sosolik is Director of Leadership and Organizational Development with Cox, Executive Education at Southern Methodist University. Her responsibilities include the development and delivery of high quality, contemporary, customer focused leadership development programs focused on leadership, human capital, and organizational development within the business community. She also serves as an internal organizational development consultant for internal and external customers, including executive education staff.
Most recently Kym has created the SMU Cox Executive Education Leadership Series which provides skills and tools needed at critical junctures in corporate careers for rising and highly talented leaders to have an immediate and lasting impact on their companies and careers. She has worked closely with several companies including Anadarko Petroleum, Spectra Energy, Baylor Health Care System and Sabre Inc. to design custom leadership development programs, succession plans for senior positions, and behavioral based competency models specific to these organizations. She has been recognized by Chief Learning Officer Magazine for Excellence in Academic Partnership.
Kym served as Director of Management Development & Training for PDI, INC., a diversified sales and marketing services provider to the biomedical and pharmaceutical industries. While in this role she designed and instituted new management development programs, developed a competency based performance management system, formalized succession planning processes, and created a management assessment program to identify high potential candidates. Additionally, she served in many sales leadership positions during her tenure with PDI, Inc. Prior to joining PDI, Inc., her experience includes School Director for a proprietary Health Career Educational School, pharmaceutical sales representative, and Medical Technologist.
Ms. Sosolik received a Master of Arts degree in Professional Development from Dallas Baptist University. She is certified to consult and deliver Lominger International, a Korn/Ferry Company, integrated talent management solutions, Emotional Competence Inventory, Climate Improvement Accreditation, and a qualified administrator of Meyers-Briggs Type Indicator. Most recently she became certified in Dispute Resolution – Texas Civil Practice Remedies Code Section 154.052.
