LaDawn Conway

LaDawn is a partner at one of the nation’s premier appellate boutiques, Alexander Dubose & Townsend LLP. She graduated cum laude from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law in 1991, where she was a Leading Articles Editor for the Journal of Air Law and Commerce. Throughout her career, LaDawn has focused her practice on trial strategy and appeals involving complex business disputes.

LaDawn is Board Certified in Civil Appellate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, and is a member of the State Bar Pattern Jury Charge Committee for the volume on Business, Consumer and Employment Law. Since 2003, LaDawn has been listed in Texas Super Lawyers in appellate law and, since 1994, she has co-authored the appellate practice and procedure article for the annual survey of Texas law in the SMU Law Review. She is a Fellow of both the Dallas Bar Foundation and the Texas Bar Foundation.

A founding board member of EWL, LaDawn is privileged to be part of such a wonderful non-profit. EWL provides both financial support and practical guidance through mentoring to women struggling to succeed in college and beyond. The care EWL gives to each of its Stars sets it apart from other non-profits that simply provide financial support. LaDawn is also a founding board member of Hope Adoption, Inc. d/b/a Hope International, a non-profit adoption agency that facilitated the adoption of her daughter, Morgan, from a Russian orphanage.

LaDawn and her husband, Ross, have two children, Ryan and Morgan.
