Our Background
Empowering Women as Leaders (EWL) is a non-profit organization formed in 2004 to provide a way to give back to the community by raising funds to send women to college to obtain a degree and begin a meaningful career. There are currently nine women on the board of directors for EWL and our membership is growing each month.
Our Mission
Empowering Women As Leaders supports women of non-traditional college age in achieving success through scholarships as well as mentoring and networking with professional women.
Our Vision
The Vision of Empowering Women As Leaders is that:
- Women achieve success despite financial, educational & social obstacles, and
- Successful women are fulfilled by sharing their wisdom and resources.
Our Values
In all that we do, Empowering Women As Leaders will:
- Promote mentoring & education,
