"New Star Relies on EWL Support"

Callyn Hill became an EWL Star in the Fall of 2007. She attributes her mentor and the support of EWL with helping her both with guidance and the financial support that enables her to be a full-time student. Waiting to hear if she will be accepted into the Nursing Program at TWU, she has Started working at Children’s Medical Center in Dallas as a technician in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit. Her first meeting with her mentor helped her prepare for her interview at Children’s Medical Center and she was offered the job in less than 48 hours! " 

Callyn shared “Being around the women of EWL has been a source of inspiration. I know that these women have been down the path that I will soon be on and they have walked that path successfully. It is assuring to know that when I make a wrong turn they will be there to redirect me.- When I trip and fall they will be there to help pick me up, and when I stand at a crossroad they will be there to help me choose the best path.”
